Born and raised in Calgary, this MC has been rhyming ever since he could remember. Equipped with thunderous freestyles, crowd moving abilities, Rubix has definately let his presence been known. He is proud to finally release his first album titled "IMperfection". The idea behind the name is that within any kind of imperfect state, you can still find and achieve perfection. But before you do, you must accept the state as being perfect already, or in other words, focus mostly on the positives and you will bear the fruits of growth and appreciation. His songs are all written from personal experience or drawn from his experiences in the personal lives of others. He is also deeply rooted in the spiritual realm and strives to reflect that in his music. Rubix says that this album represents accepting what is and releasing the old to make room for the new. This is a perfect parallel as there are a few songs on the album that are up to 3-4 years old. The album brings a wide variety of moods through the amazing producers that are a part of this project. For Rubix, this is only the beginning of his career.
