In 2012, Stee set out to create a body of work that reflected sonically and lyrically what he'd been through since his debut Songs About Her. With this vision, he wanted every experience on one record to have an entirely different sound. With producers Malcolm MacGuyver Horne & Brooke Horne, they crafted The Atypical Playlist.
