The Album is named after Rio Ferdinand because he is a great player for Manchester United in England. Not only is he a great soccer player, he also is very brave to stand against racism in soccer. I was inspired to finish this album after reading about how The Manchester United defender has backed a European parliament resolution which calls on referees to be given the power to suspend matches where supporters make racial taunts. Back in 2005 Rio Ferdinand and Shaun-Wright Philips were singled out by monkey chants from thousands of supporters in Spain. The soccer field was covered with bananas thrown at the African players on the field and they were all called niggers and told to go back to Africa. This album is made for all those soccer players who were embarrassed for being black and playing soccer in a friendly. You are a soldier!!
