No matter what happens in his life Shawn will always have a passion for music. With Georgia quickly rising to the top of the Hip Hop game in the South, Shawn is looking to put his city on the map to show the world that his "No Competition" album willhold its own beside other independent artist music. This Georgia native has been on the scene since 2003. Dropping an underground mixtapes in 2005, 2006. With the hit single "60 bars" Shawn quickly began to surge in the Georgia, area. Now Shawn is at another level with his game. With his debut album entitled “No Competition (2 Disc Set)” Shawn is ready to show the world that he is here to stay. “I just want the world to know that I’ve done all my homework, I put in the long hours in the studio, I been doing shows, and I know I got what it takes to get it to the top,” said Shawn, of Smith Publishing Records. No Competition is an album that everybody can relate to on all levels and all backgrounds. It will make you feel good, make you dance, and make you think. With hit singles “Your Not A Hustler(ft. DTP's Feildmob,” “I Want You Back,” and “No Copetition,” Shawn displays a variety of flavors. Even with touching songs like “What You Gone Do” and “15 seconds of Fame.” “My goal is to build an empire of talented artists that are very inspirational individuals and stamp the rap game,” said Shawn. “I’m not trying to bring negativity to Hip Hop, I just want to bring that old school flavor back when everybody was just making good music,” said Shawn. Artists like 2pac, Kanye West, The Game, and T.I. are some of the many artists that inspired Shawn. “I just love good music, and music with a message,” said Shawn. Hopefully with “No Competition” Shawn will provide that feeling for his listeners.
