Sandbar is a group of four musicians whose goal is to compose music that pushes the boundaries of modern pop music composition, while providing a sound that is accessible to a wide variety of listeners. This goal stems from a wide range of influences from the works of John Coltrane and Gustav Mahler, to the works of Pink Floyd and The Strokes. This assortment of influences allows the listener to enjoy both the driving and enthralling sounds of Sandbar, while also presenting relaxing and exotic landscapes to the listener's ears.
