The concept of 9 tracks is an electronic psychoanalysis, punctuated by catchy melodies which only Orias has the secrecy and the sound incantations sung in French by Arkames. The only glimmer of hope seems to come from lyrical flights of Asphodel. You are warned: do not try to type-cast them – AD INFERNA has chosen to break down the barriers of musical genres to offer their own musical, virtual and thematic style: each production is different, unique and synthesizes their own personal evolution. Composed of founding members of De Profundis and the musical mastermind behind Seth (French Black Metal Pioneers), AD INFERNA is a band that consists of the members V. Orias A., V.V. Arkames, and V.N.A. The debut album L’Empire des Sens was released in 2002 and they’re back in 2009 with the acclaimed album Trance:N:Dance, featuring a total of 12 tracks including remixes from bands such as Reaper, Soman, Combichrist and Beborn Beton (recorded at Anorexia Nervosa Studio by Xort). The style of their second album Trance:N:Danceis somewhat a combination of different styles like electro, industrial, metal and gothic featuring vocals in both English and French. The music is full of dark melodies, powerful bass lines, and energetic guitar riffs together with overdriven male and beautiful female vocals. Combine Clan Of Xymox, Project Pitchfork with Reaper and Unterart and you’ll get “Trance:N:Dance”. The pre-prod versions of RMX like “Suicide Girl”, “SM for SM” or “Metamorphose” have already been played all over the world by many DJs during the summer in festivals, clubs and radios… and it rocks! After the deal with Aural Music/Dreamcell 11/Soulfood Music, the group is looking for a label embedded in the electronic world to get real support, logistic and promotion for their forthcoming production in 2010: DSM.
