Having spent twenty-six years as a professional human and slightly less as a pianist, Andriana Chobot started writing songs in high school in Vermont. Performing experimentally at a liberal Canadian college, her music continues to develop through the convergence of various musicians and those rare times when it's raining and the sun is shining at the same time. "She couldn't even try" to define her music, expressing, "What I hear in my dream thought bubble is different than what you hear, and I wouldn't want to burst your bubble." Nonetheless, Andriana cites influences as varied as Regina Spektor, the Beatles, Fiona Apple, Anaïs Mitchell and Our Lady Peace.
