2 Slices, an electronic pop duo from Charleston, SC, combines catchy dance beats with soaring synth pop melodies. Danny Martin (vocals, synth, guitar) of the band Octopus Jones began writing and recording solo material under the moniker 2 Slices in Ryan Wolfgang Zimmerman’s studio space. Martin moved from Raleigh, NC to Charleston to complete the full length debut album. He connected with an old friend, Brandon Fudge (aka DJ Lazer Cat), and the two started performing live with Danny on lead vocals and DJ Lazer Cat spinning the tracks. Influenced by current hip hop and classic pop, 2 Slices is dance music with a dark side.
