My 30th year has been a very busy year for me. I've composed music for several short films and acted in numerous musical theatre productions. I even wrote a second musical called, "Strangers" which premiered for the first time at the King Center in Denver, CO April and May of 2010. I'm blessed to work. Even so, I've taken some time to write some songs that had no purpose behind them other than to just make some music. I found myself thinking about what it meant to be 30 years old. In the end, it doesn't really mean anything, but these songs represent my own personal musical moments of reflection. Life just never turns out the way you think it will. People come in and out of your life all the time. Citizens in America still don't true social justice or equal rights. People are talking about a shift in consciousness and a new kind of world to live in. What's next for us? What should we be doing right now? I find that in reaching my thirties, I have more questions than ever. There are more defined paths in front of me, but am I making the right choices?
