Its been over a year since we released anything on our originals label Flower Of Life here at liaoliao.tw with the building of our new record shop and studio base in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan we had neglect our oh so treasured imprint. So its not soon enough that we schedule the next chapter, and heading the production on the music is olywok with four deliciously laid back hazy tracks. Born and bred in Perth, Australia, olywok explored producing electronic music when living in Vancouver BC. He creates original tracks with a laid-back and mellow feel, inspired by many influences. The whole EP from olywok is a masterclass in soft, gentle delicate grooves. All four tracks are oozing with an ultra relaxing ambience. The carefully crafted crisp beats and percussion, the sensual qualities added through the subtle use of samples, and the uplifting synth stabs and chord progressions all working to creating an intoxicatingly mellow spirited musical journey.
