This is a rockabilly album. Just like our old school rockabilly heroes, this album was recorded live to analogue tape. With no modern technology quick fixes, the mistakes were left in place. The only overdubs were the vocals. Recording live off the floor, this album captures the raw energy of straight-up bad-a** rockabilly musicians. All ten tracks on this album are originals - written and arranged by Brian Baker. Brian recorded with a Gretsch 6120 and Gibson ES335 through a Roland tape delay into a vintage Premiere amplifier. Rollerskate Baby was recorded in November 2014 at Fry Pharmacy Recording​ Studios, Nashville TN, featuring some of finest musicians Nashville has to offer.
