Survivalist is a star who was born on the beautiful Island of Jamaica in the city of Kingston and was raised in the community of Central Village faced with poverty, violence and all the turmoil surrounding him; at the tender age of 12 Survivalist and everyone around him knew he was different and possessed a gift for music and a burning desire to serve the CREATOR. After finishing school Survivalist pursued his passion and started on his professional journey following in the footsteps of reggae icons such as the great Bob Marley, reggae superstar Jimmy Cliff, the one and only Mr.Boombastic " Shaggy ", the memorable Garnet Silk and many more. Throughout Survivalist career; he had the opportunity and experience of touring for 2 years with his hometown and childhood friend Luciano and was a strong supporter of Snoop Lion aka Snoop Dogg on his Reincarnation project and are brothers for life in JAH name, Survivalist writes and arranges his music its straight from the heart which gives a whole new meaning of soulful music, He has tropical & exotic strong voice , His music is healing, uplifting, and inspiring, His music is about the struggles of people, life, love, peace and happiness and will definitely soothe your soul.
