Still hoping to “wave the flag” some more in regards to the indie pop music scene , The Gilligans have just emerged from Upstairs/Downstairs studio in scenic Princeton, IL. with their just completed 2009 sophomore oeurve: MY NAME IS WILLY .

Original members guitarist/ songwriter Todd Borsch & vocalist/ songwriter Dan McKenzie reconvened last year with multi-instrumentalist David Krieger assuming bass guitar duties and local live music vet Scott Pellican behind the drums all under the watchful supervision of Ear Theory Recordings Head Producer Hiram Gleafic.

Combining the influences of their British Invasion Heroes, Text Book Power Pop, a dose or two of Roots Rock, & a pinch of Psychedelia all simmering under the same garage rooftop, The Gilligans are proud to present ten new tracks that couple infectious hooks with a healthy dose of crunch that only an overdriven Vox amplifier can provide.
