An Albertan Singer-Songwriter - drawing inspiration from the classic and modern folk eras - his songs create a classic 60s folk atmosphere mixed with revival artists we all know. His inspirations include (but are not limited to) Bob Dylan, James Taylor and John Denver to The Lumineers, Passenger, Donovan Woods and bluegrass bands such as the Punch Brothers. Those who attend his shows consistently rave of his ability to connect with an audience through his storytelling and realist songwriting style. In 2017 West released his debut EP North South East - EP and has played numerous shows in Canada. In 2017 Eric opened for Landmark Showcase winner Paul Woida and Western Canadian Music Award nominee Megan Nash.
