The MoZiac is my first solo project featuring all of my production work of different genres of music. It will have hip hop,r&b and pop. This cd will feature the songwritting of my new parnter in crime Billy Lyve who has developed the skilled pen to be a hit songwritter of the future. The artist on the project are those from the famed UReck crew, Billy Lyve, Mai, Showcase,BabeRuth and Ambush. This project will also feature Shell Be Raw, The Boy Blesst, and Rashee all from Bmore City. As well as new pop artist Kathy D and Lisa. This project was something I wanted to do for along time, but just didn't feel like I had the right artist for the vision. I had been producing with my ARS Architechs Recording Studio family Mike Mac and Niige for over 10yrs, doing alot projects like the infamous Street Radio Mixtapes and album cuts and mixtapes for alot of artist in Bmore, but them never really seeing me, I was like a unseen producer with alot of hidden jems that spread over time by word of mouth and radio play, but no one ever really had seen me out there, so I decided now is the time for me to come out to show those who have heard of me what Im really about. My man Billy Lyve actually approched me about doing this project with his artist since I had been commssioned by his manager to produce several cuts on his mixtape and the 1st ladi Mai mixtape. I saw the vision he had with his work and he saw the vision I had and with the same ideas and creativity we began to put this idea to work and make this album. Being that we are both music lovers not just of hip hop, but of rock, pop, reggae,dancehall,etc,etc.... The MoZiac was the perfect idea to create good music of different styles with creative thinking and passion for good music. The project began in April 2007 with preproduction and recordings in my studio along with the artist who came together to brainstorm and develope song ideas and concepts. The project has been all in all fun to record with some recording taking place in ATL with my man Blesst who relocated from Bmore to ATL last year. He recorded some heat called "Sum Uva ISh" with my man famed Dj and producer Deboniar Samir, who has a studio down in Atl now. HIs song is a cross hybrid of down south bottom with a mix of indian punjabi, some wild stuff you gotta hear it bang in the club. Im about to remix this song this week in Bmore to give it that extra bump. My girl SHell Be Raw made the long trip up to the studio hidden in the woods of Sykesville MD to record a joint collabo with Billy Lyve call"Do what I do", this is some real street sh*t with good lyrics and chorus. The sesssion was crowded with like 20 people in the room while this song was being recorded, it was fun but also a challenging at the same time with so many spectators in the room waiting for there turn to record there own material.
