This is my debut album, and comes after 4 years of being a professional musician. The journey has been very long and has cost me far more than I thought it would. A lot of the songs in the album are about a few of those prices. Two relationships that ended up burning because I couldn't find the right balance, and the position of being the only person in a city of 1.1 million people who pursues music professionally in the English language while still being based out of the city, and not moving to greener pastures. I find myself often being a stranger to the ways of the modern world, and it doesn't work out well for me, since my choice in profession requires me to come across as friendly, savvy, and the guy you'd want to hang out with. Whereas, I am extremely shy, and use my skill in music as a crutch to facilitate conversations with people should a conversation ever be necessary. I come from a land of engineers, and am one by academics too, and have now become a sort of curiosity. The boy who chose to quit his job so he could pursue music, as if that's a suitable career choice for a respectable person. So my songs have been born in the crucible of these particular fires, and I hope you listen to them. They're not fancy, and they're not intended to be so.
