After releasing our second mixtape, "Black and White: The Shady Side of Gray", in March 2010 we got the idea for an album that later came to be “Aesthetics of an Asshole”. The theme is being portrayed throughout the album and the songs have been arranged to guide you through different phases in the album production, giving you our take on important and difficult subjects such as love, growing up and money. Relying on the free time and limited resources of our small record label, 203 ENTERTAINMENT, this was a time-consuming and expensive project to accomplish. We all learned and grew up a lot during the period it took to complete the album, but it was also a very stressful time. We all come from modest means so arranging the time and money needed to meet, record and travel was quite challenging (considering we are scattered around Texas and yours truly, K.O., living in Finland). We put all our love, professionalism and care into the project – resulting in many arguments, sleepless nights and also memorable moments of accomplishment. We are truly proud of the end-result and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
