After the show, he surprised me out of the green room, announcing him playing a song of mine called "Velas", a composition that he recorded with Quincy Jones. Since then, we became great friends. Toots is a sweet gentleman, ultra-sensitive, completely in love with music, life and with his instrument. Owner of a perfect pitch, he understands music in 360 degrees. He plays with such emotion, that it seems that the world is going to end within two hours. This tribute comes in a perfect time. Toots is leaving behind an important legacy: a new talented generation that, as he, plays with excellence, creativity, emotion and helps the world respect, appreciate and love the harmonica.
