This artist, (Peter Oliva) has been bringing his own blend of Christ Centered Music that he call’s simply "Gospel Americana" (A mixture of Folk/Country/Rock/mixed with a little R&B) to churches around the country since 1990.

While still in his teens, he started making a name for himself as a “side man” and session player in New York City’s Greenwich Village backing up every thing from the Latin bands uptown, and some Memphis styled horn bands, to the folkies, and rock bands, playing in the clubs that lined the streets in the “Village” back in the Sixties. He later got called out to the West Coast and fast found himself in the Country and Folk/Rock music scene that was happening in L.A. during the 1970's which got him touring and recording for over ten years with the legendary and pioneering Singer/Songwriter and good friend the late Gene Clark. Toured the UK with the Byrds in '76 with an album resulting from the London concert. After this, later collaborated, performed, and recorded in a band with former Byrd, Burrito Brother, and current original B-Bender creator, Gene Parsons.

In the early eighties he met the Lord Jesus quite unexpectedly!!! With a burst of prolific self penned songs God opened the way for him to go out as an itinerant gospel singer/songwriter in 1990. Later, after his marriage to his wife, Valerie, toured churches ( both solo & together with Valerie ) across the USA including Mexico & Canada. Traveling with his bible always sitting on the front seat, his trusty guitar in the back, he has been bringing song to the churches where he has been a blessing to all visited.
