Chapter 3 is the debut studio album for independent artist, Kimberly Roberts. Kimberly is a multi-faceted individual who has worked countless hours over the past 12 years writing, recording and preparing for this album. It's finally time for the world to hear Kimberly's collection of songs which outline her personal trials, tribulations, triumphs and life journey over the past decade. Kimberly’s lifelong pursuit of her musical aspirations are truly a labor of love and her songwriting and studio recordings encompass different chapters of her life; which is why she titled this album project, "Chapter 3". It's Kimberly's 3rd attempt at releasing an album and her 3rd decade pursuing her dreams in the entertainment industry. During the album preparation process she was offered and/or signed to a couple label and production deals which most recently included, 15 months she spent with Ark Music Factory prior to the "Rebecca Black" internet sensation. For a variety of reasons the deals were either terminated by Kimberly and/or contract term expired, allowing her the freedom to release music on her own label and encompass songs which cross over multiple genres while staying true to her moral compass. The debut tracks which made the final cut were recorded in three recording studios with three primary producers in Memphis, TN; Sherman Oaks, CA; and San Dimas, CA. Kimberly's long-term goal with this release is to develop a platform with her talents which will allow her to contribute to philanthropic efforts dear to her heart which include: self-esteem programs for abused and bullied teenagers, Senior advocacy, Wounded Combat Veterans support, and animal rescue organizations.
