About Shane Lynton Shane Lynton was born in the island of Barbados - known for its sea and sandy beaches. From a very young age Shane grew up hearing his father singing gospel songs and just like him, Shane also found the joy and love of singing. Shane was very shy from a young age, and often recorded himself singing on tape, and would then play it for his family and friends to listen. Shane has been singing in his church since 1999. He started out in a talent program in which his first song was ‘Amazing Grace’. Shane was further encouraged over the years by his friends, and his second debut in the church was in 2001 when he sang ‘God and God Alone’, along with a duet of ‘The Prayer’ at the church’s morning service. That same year Shane gave his life to Christ, and has thanked God everyday since then. In 2004, Shane felt the urge to fulfill his dream as an R&B artiste, however God had a greater plan for his life and Shane yielded to His direction. Though Shane didn’t understand where that direction for his life was going at that time, God was working on his heart. Shane then attempted writing Christian/Gospel songs but found it was fruitless, so he focused primarily on his talent for singing. God’s Crew Bio Shane is extremely passionate about this ministry and spreading the entire gospel to all the world. He was therefore impressed to further grow his ministry so branding his ministry as 'God's Crew'. God's Crew was born after Rachel-Ann Simmons and Dominic Merritt sang together with Shane for five (5) years, while Mathious Willie played the guitar. God's crew has grown since its inception and has changed some of it's founder members.
