The entirety of this album was written as a long-distance project. At the time of the formation of this band, the three members who wrote the music were in three different corners of North Carolina. Using Guitar Pro, the drummer, Danny would writer preliminary guitar and drum tracks, that were then bounced back and forth between him and the guitarist, Paul until a "final" version was created. The guitar pro MIDI was bounced to an MP3 and sent to Chris, the vocalist, who would write lyrics, and recommend adjustments in the music until the true final product was created. This process worked through 7 songs, 3 of which weren't included on this album due to time and financial constraints. The band recorded the instrumental and vocal parts with a friend in Morehead City, NC, and was mastered by Zach Norman of Beyond our Eyes in Texas for mastering. Using the music off of this album, the band won North Carolina's "Battle for All-Stars" and "Battle for Mayhem" competitions and has been fortunate to play with a number of National Metalcore and Deathcore acts in North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
