Over the course of nearly twelve months, Bryan allowed ‘A Beautiful Weakness’ to develop into a highly personal document connected deeply to everything in his life throughout the time. This long-term emotional investment makes it quite likely that the meticulously crafted soundtrack will serve as a nostalgic reference point for Bryan for as long as he lives.

For us, ‘A Beautiful Weakness’ allows us to somehow be a part of all this. It is more of an album than an EP, with more tracks than anyone has previously dared to include in an Audio Gourmet EP. Despite the variety of sounds within the work - delicate music box interludes, beautiful piano compositions, eroded strings - the collection of tracks feels whole and complete. The textures and melodies are so fragile and delicate that it seems as though they could fall apart at any moment. It is within this fragility - this weakness - that beauty can be found.
