Nashville's Amber Rose has been the primary lead featured female voice of The C.R. Ecker Band since its inception in 2011. On this song of "love lost," she sings with deep emotion and timbre about her first love of long ago, wondering where he is and asking if there is a "girl you call your own?" There is no anger in this tale, but a soft underpinning of remorse. Much like the feeling likely shared by millions of other girls who grew into womanhood without the lover they were certain would share their lives together, forever and a day. Musically, "Our Good Ole' Days" is blended with a light country casting in the band's pleasing "heartland" style. And true to C.R. Ecker's nature, working with producer Stacy Hogan of A Writer's Paradise in Music City, this talented composer has brought in the little-used Chapman Stick into the mix to add some verve and flair.
