The Caribbean islands are home to rich and diverse musical cultures. A plethora of styles from around the world diverge here. Aside from calypso and steel band music, Soca and Reggae, the syncopated rythms of West Africa, Latin American influences, Salsa, Merengue and even classical Viennese waltz have woven their way into the fabric of Antillian music.
