Upscale Thieves is a heads down groover, with its moody overtones but with a funky tinge that certainly packs a punch. The remix of Upscale Thieves comes from Nikola Gala who's recent works have been on Rekids and Plastic City with his deep and underground vibes. His remix is no exception to this, with its techno groove but with housey feel, this is a solid mix for chunkier moments in your set. Returning is a fairly sparse deep as you like moment, subtle and hypnotic, one for very late nights... Remix duties of Returning goes to Pezzner having been on Ovum and Freerange keeps it deep, but spices things up with a cheeky acid line and freaky sounds galore, while you are locked in to a weird and wonderful journey. Muted Gold is the punchier of the originals, still deep, but with more energy and drive, a sinister synth line drags you along while the bass stabs guide you in the right direction. To close this excellent package, is the remix of Muted Gold and it comes from Mexico's Ramiro Puente - a DJ, producer and music production tutor who certainly knows his onions... His remix is a tasty phat number, adding musical layers, a tad of funkiness, plenty of drive and taking the mix to another direction from the original.
