They say don't forget your roots - and S Man definitley takes things back to the rave days with this 92 influenced EP! Title track 'Rava Flava' is ram packed full of energy, featuring classic jungle vocals and catchy riffs dropping into a huge pulsating bassline. The second track is pure 'Fire' - with a nasty bass line, stepping breaks and a heavy ragga vocal leading the track. 'Brain Funk' is a distinctive funky roller that's been a popular dub for a while - rejigged and mastered for it's release this year - a rolling amen leads into solid two step with a classic old skool rave vocals, catchy riffs and a deep pounding sub; this track has had big DJ support and is a favourite of K-Jah's, Dazee's & Verdikt's. Sticking with the old skool rave theme, although a more laid back uplifting vibe on this one, its all about the hands in air, piano and big vocals with 'Give You' all tied together with tough breaks and a driving bass. A great way to finish off the EP.
