简介
As quoted by Wikipedia, "Selah is a word used seventy-four times in the Hebrew Bible—seventy-one times in the Psalms and three times in Habakkuk. (Though) the meaning of the word is unknown, various interpretations are given. It is probably either a liturgical-musical mark or an instruction on the reading of the text, something like "stop and listen." The Selah Chord is the basis of the entire Selah project. Once the harp or piano strikes the specific chord, all lyrics will either sustain or stop completely. The Selah Chord can also begin, end, or interrupt a song to serve the same purpose. Pay close attention to when The Selah Chord strikes, and please take the time to "stop, listen, and reflect" on the lyrics, as your personal connection to the music will almost be guaranteed upon doing this. Lyrics for Selah are inspired almost word for word from the Holy Bible (Psalm 119). I wish above all things that The Selah Project helps everyone find the connection needed throughout life's journey, with God Almighty. With love, and in His Grace - thank you all. Sincerest Regards. - Omar Lateef
