Shiny Objects returns to Roam Recordings with the brilliant Lights of Fire EP. After a successful year running his iconic San Francisco clubs Monarch and the Great Northern Shiny Objects aka Chris Smith rejoins Roam to follow up his previous Bad Acid and Purest Sound EPs with two new originals. The title track is a low slung slice of beautiful electronics that is at the same time meditative, blissful, comforting, and unique. The other original, Dirty Darlins, ups the tempo while adding a hint of dark disco. The EP is supported with two excellent remixes. The first is from Man Power who remains faithful to the intent of the original Lights of Fire while turning it into a dance floor burner. Also joining the EP is Spanish DJ/Producer Undo who brings a dark big system electro flavor to Dirty Darlins. The originals and remixes that make up the Lights of Fire EP continue to bring a variety of unique sounds and moods for which Roam Recordings has become known.
