Owen Davis is a singer/songwriter playing in and around West Virginia, Maryland and DC. Owen is about to release his sixth CD with his band, The Free Humus Allstars. This particular CD was Owen's first CD which was recorded just after his return from the Philippines as a Peace Corps Volunteer. When it came out in 1989 New Age magazine called it one of the top ten albums of the year. Although this is not a new age album, its songs act as a musical diary describing the ups and downs of what it is like to be a Peace Corps volunteer.
