简介
The Aquarian Shift has been called by many the first “New Age Rap Song”. J.Walker is an emcee who has always lived life metaphysically minded. When presented Eric Rankin’s novel “The Aquarians”, J.Walker wrote a song which speaks to the hope, magic and synchronicity which fills the book and many of the mapmakers in today’s world. The Aquarian Shift explores the possibility that the end of the Mayan Calendar is the beginning of a new consciousness. December 12, 2012 is not the end of the world but the beginning of a new reality, one where we will focus on peace and love, one where imagination and creativity will be valued more than ever, one where the old ways of the Pisces age take a back seat to the Aquarian energy. J.Walker is a counselor, a poet, a performer, a rapper, a teacher, a motivational speaker, an author and a healer. Living his dream, J. is working as a self proclaimed RHYMECOLOGIST, helping “at risk" youth work through their problems by expressing themselves through rap or poetry. Also features voice over by Australian artist, gilli moon. The creativity and passion that J.Walker uses has helped him win numerous poetry slams and talent shows all through Los Angeles. He conducts groups and seminars throughout the Los Angeles area and is often invited to speak on music business panels about Hip Hop, as well as appear and perform in the Corporate area for working adults. J.Walker is the resident poet on the Fox Sports Radio talk show, The Loose Cannons (hosted by Pat O'Brien, Steven Hartman and Vic Da Brick Jacobs). The show airs from 12p.m.-4p.m. daily on 570AM (Los Angeles, CA) and J. makes appearances creating on the spot poetry and rhymes about the daily events. J.Walker has led an extraordinary life. He has lived in five different countries, including Indonesia, Singapore, Argentina United Arab Emirates and France. Combining his worldly experience with his talent for lyrics and his passion to help people, he created the idea for Rhymecology. www.rhymecology.com
