D-EDGE was founded by the Italian classically trained cellist and singer/songwriter Stefano Matteucci. D-EDGE has released two Albums so far: "My Greatest Hope" & "Colossal". Stefano is a professional musician graduated at the Conservatoire in 2003. But it's in London, with the fortunate encounter with Hungarian pianist Boglarka Gerstner that D-EDGE took its shape... ​ D-EDGE is an original and unique mixture between Classical, Pop, Rock progressive, Minimalistic and Gothic. To mention any influence one can find in D-EDGE is as hard as to describe its very style. Stefano playing cello while singing, in a totally unique musical atmosphere may be, perhaps, the best description. ​ ​D-EDGE was finilist at UK Open Mic Festival in 2010, and performed in several and well known London venues, such as The 02 Academy Islington, The Bowery, 229 The Venue, Water Rats, Pumphouse, The Good Ship, The Luminaire and many others. ​ The song "Trust Me" is aired everyday on the Portuguese Radio SoberaniaFM.
