17-year-old Sasha B.’s first acoustic e.p. “Dreams Like Air” basically describes the life of a typical girl throughout high school. Inspired by boys, family, friends and life, the songs on the album are relatable, catchy, and at times hopefully thought-provoking. The album is infused with Sasha’s Russian-Ukrainian roots, Jewish heritage, and Southern background, combining to create a unique and natural sound. Every song on “Dreams Like Air” has special significance and was inspired by Sasha’s life, whether it be from actual events she experienced, a picture she saw, a story she heard from a friend, or simply her imagination.

Sasha B., born in Donetsk, Ukraine, is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Alabama. She started with piano at age five, picked up guitar in six grade, and began writing songs in ninth grade, with her friend, Meli. By sophomore year, she knew that her habit of writing her life into songs would stick with her for life, and she was ready to expose the world to her music. Since then, she has been performing her music and covers of other artists at various venues in her area, and in 2011, she decided to professionally record a CD of some of her best songs.
