Kali Yuga it’s an instrumental rock band, which fusions elements of several musical styles and genres like progressive, alternative and psychedelic rock, experimental/avant-garde music, pop, classical and contemporary music, jazz, free improvisation, ethnic and world music, electronic and everything we can use to expand the listener’s imagination and consciousness. We melt together two opposite concepts: Rigorous-form composition and free-form improvisation, coming and going from a powerful and complex rocking sound to an atmospheric and meditative mood. We try to explore in our music as much as the passion and mystery as the ignorance, horror and confusion of the last and darkest era of the universal cycle, the Kali Yuga. The age we are living in.
