USS Leland is a project by Leland Lewis who dedicated this home recorded EP to his grandfather Rutherford Garry. While at home going through his dead grandfather's things he came across his grandfather's old accordian. He then utilized his limited access to instruments (accordian, flute, guitar) and recorded this 3-song EP for the grandfather he admires so much.

His grandfather fought in World War II and helped to raise him while he was young. After his grandfather's death, Leland began to uncover more and more facts and information about his life. Upon realization of what an amazing man his grandfather was, he wrote the following songs in honor of his memory and the life he led.
