Formed in the fall of 2011, Paper Hill Casket Company is an americana/alternative band hailing from New Haven, Connecticut. The members of the five-piece group represent diverse musical backgrounds, from hardcore rock to bluegrass to classical. The combination of these influences gives the music of Paper Hill Casket Company a unique sound and energy. On October 20th, Paper Hill Casket Company will release their first full-length album, Undertow, which explores themes of desperation and renewal set to the backdrop of an anachronistic rural American landscape. Paper Hill Casket Company's shows combine the intimacy of traditional string music with the high energy dance-ability of a rock show.
