Jonathan ['J'] Sigel, broke into the contemporary/smooth jazz genre with a debut release in 2005, titled Milky Way Soul. First featured on a much-loved nationally syndicated groove & funk music radio show hosted and produced by Rafe Gomez, it ascended into international radio play rotation. A ten-year recording hiatus then led to the 2014 release of Sigel's 'Hard Water', which garnered critical acclaim and "turned heads" with a fiercely funky single 'Journey to Plex', featuring contemporary jazz icon saxist Eric Marienthal. It received further acclaim from industry critics and music journalists across North America and Europe, with several singles in rotation.
