GYNX are a three-piece funk, blues, psychedelic rock band hailing from Kent in the U.K. They started out in October 2014, and began writing songs from the get-go. "The Rat", "Don't Ya", "Time Waster", "Home Again", and "Fun Cowt" to be among their first musical creations. Most of their songs are about characters and concepts, which gives them the opportunity to bung their imaginations together to create something oddly addictive. For example they have "Derrick Sharp" (the robot), "The Rat", "Slippery Sly", "Fun-cowt" (pronounced funk out about a funky cow), "Ned The Hammerhead".
