You Are My Woman is a upbeat tune with a Latin flavored rhythm section, a quintet with a great alto sax and piano man, the whole quintet is a fabulous group put together for this recording session. The quirky riff the drummer laid down set the stage for the unique Latin feel. The lyric is straight forward about loving your lady and wanting to make her yours forever by getting married. This is an excellent dance tune and should get you up and moving easily. The dance floor fills up quickly when i do it at clubs. They say a 3 minute Samba is like a 4 minute mile only more fun so get up and dance to You Are My Woman.
