The new CD is my 15th album in 45 years. It is my best work yet, encompassing topics of freedom, justice, transgender issues, love songs, personal journeys and tongue in check blues. The musicianship is top-notch. I've worked with the same rhythm section for over 5 CDs and we just get tighter and tighter. Everyone who played on this CD did so in the most professional and creative way. I'm proud of each and every track. I consider myself an acoustic singer/songwriter with strong folk roots.
