简介
September 2015 marks the release of De Wallen’s EP titled 2.0. They recorded the EP over a seven day period at Coffee Stained Vinyl under multi-award winning producer/composer Teejay Terblanche and Ryan Loubser. The EP features five tracks including fan favourites Crackerjack and Heart Rate Rocker featuring Basson Laubscher. This EP will be the first time since 2014 fans can experience the band’s newly developed style and sound. This will be the first time fans get to experience new drummer Victor Green’s unique sound on record. Heart Rate Rocker: 2.0 features a reworked version of the popular track released in 2014. The track is done in a southern rock style with Laubscher’s signature slide-guitar bringing the track to life. Means To An End: A five minute rollercoaster that tackles the struggles of substance abuse. Terblanche’s influence can be heard in the acoustic feel of the track. Eyes Of April’s End: De Wallen’s first rock ballad, exposing the band’s softer side. Snakebite Sugarkiss: Hits of right where their debut album left off. Powerhouse rock and roll. Crackerjack: This Glam-rock influenced track will make you break out the dance moves and shake.
