Blessed Union, The Group, based in Raleigh, NC promotes the Christian message of Hope and the love Christ has for God's people. The group was birthed in May 2005 from the Wedding Day of it's leaders, founders and visionaries, Tony and Toni (Arnold) McFarland. This is what inspired their name and their purpose. They have been known for adding their own flavor to gospel cover songs and will continue to promote this original along with more upcoming tracks. I'm Covered was written by co-founder Antonia "Toni" Arnold-McFarland initially for church choirs. This new version is a re-invention of the song that reflects a contemporary approach. This ensemble sound and style are relevant to today's life situations. Spiritual Message of I'm Covered: The groups two debut releases for Spring 2015 focus on the of love of Christ and relationships shared that reflect God's love. These are I'm Covered and Your Love Is All I Need. I'm Covered, released for Lent (which starts on Ashe Wednesday on Feb 18, 2015), reminds Believers of our victories gained because of the redeeming love of Christ. Lent is the season in which Christians repent and reflect spiritually. It is a time of gaining new liberations and re-gaining self-control through devotion, prayer and fasting. Lent represents the time Jesus spent in the Wilderness and did not give in to temptations (See Mark 1:12-14). I'm Covered sends a message that encourages those observing Lent. It is a time of gaining victory over temptations and difficulties, just as Christ did in the wilderness. The end result will be new achievements and a transformed life for the Believers of Christ. His love for the world sent Him to the Cross. He resurrected on Easter, giving us Hope to endure this life, and the promise of eternal life.
