From Delfeayo Marsalis and Houston Person, to Kim Burrell and Lisa McClendon, John "Lil John" Lumpkin has shared his multi-talented gifts with musicians throughout the world. Composing his first record entitled "Clue Paradise" was for artist Terry "Doc" Handy. This album was based more towards the Be-Bop Genre. While serving an Artists in Residency at Jazz at Lincoln Center (Doha, Qatar), John started working on his project "The Devotion". This project features sounds of Be-Bop, R&B, and Fusion that are excerpts of his diverse musical career, combined with his unending pursuance of love and family.
