简介
Originally released on vinyl in 2007, for the very first time on CD, Bad Chopper's 12 song self titled release has been reissued on Mosrite Records©. After the break up of Los Gusanos, The Warm Jets were formed by C.J. Ward (aka C.J. Ramone) in Long Island N.Y. In 2000, they released one single (''She Says''), but due to another band from the U.K. using that name, they changed their name, deriving it from C.J.s passion for chopped Harley Davidson motorcycles. In mid 2001 Bad Chopper was born. Lyrically Bad Chopper is very much written in the spirit of the Ramones. Musically, band members C.J. Ward (vocals, bass) Brian Costanza (guitar) Mark Sheehan (drums, rhythm guitar and lead vox on "Why") and studio musicians Walter Lure (lead guitar) and Daniel Rey (backing vocals, tambourine and lead guitar on "Good Enough for Me") deliver a more dark, rough edged, unpolished, rock and roll sound with a very punk rock attitude. Bad Chopper is a hard, nasty and raw composition encapsulating the inimitable song writing style of C.J. Ward (Ramones) and showcasing the raw drumming talent of the late Mark Sheehan(Out Cold) This CD is a must for any Ramones fans collection. 10 page booklet complete with lyrics and rare photos. Total running time 32 minutes. Produced by Daniel Rey.
