I wrote, "This is our Home" on the day the Iraq War started, March 20, 2003. I was caught off guard to my emotional reaction to the start of the war. I sat down and wrote this song. Inspired by time in the redwood forests of California, this song is a call to love and respect all things because fear will never satisfy our soul. "Florida" is probably the most requested song on this album. I hope that one day it is the state song. :) It is my favorite song on this album. This is all I will say. I do not want to write something about each song because I want your experience to be yours. Many trials and breakthroughs and breakthroughs carved these songs. The message is sort of the same in each song. We are all filled with light and love and it is the greatest of our tasks to share that love as best we can.
