Mudh' was conceived during the Autumnal Equinox MMXII in recognition of the approaching darkness of the season ahead. Mudh, from the old Indo-European language, is suggested to mean 'reflection' or 'thinking over' and in this context is used as a reflective means of journeying into and through the physical and metaphysical darkness of winter. Through ritual motion, sound and imagery, ‘Mudh’ acts as cathartic alleviation of fear in the face of darkness and as fluidity in the cycle of life.
