The Passersby is an American indie folk-pop, found-sound, and *occasional* electronic duo from Tennessee. The group formed in 2014 and consists of Jeremy Johnston (keyboards, rhythm, production) and April Hill (vocals). Both come from a long history of music and would greatly appreciate your support for their hard work and your ear-joy. Jeremy played keys and trumpet for Mexican pop/rock band Ciao Granada from 2007 to 2012 and is the owner and director of Nubivagant Records. April is a classically trained vocalist with a long history in operatic performance and sings part-time with the folk/rock project Feed the Birds. Breath to Your Bones is The Passersby's debut album and was recorded by both Jeremy and April at Nubivagant Records - an independent and bilignual label and production house in Kingsport, Tennessee. The eight tracks were recorded during the summer of 2014 and was the duo's first time in in complete control of production. Breath to Your Bones features "I Know You," the main theme from critically acclaimed Mexican film Cuatro Lunas. Also featured is "Red River Gorge," which opens Mexican stage play "Lobos por Corderos."
