KRISTI "One of Detroit's Rising Stars" Welome to the World of Kristi, Detroit's newest rising star! The 17 year old high school senior is making her mark on Detroit, but has set her aspirations higher. Born November 10th, 1989, Kristi has fostered a passion for music from a young age. Beginning her career at the age of five within church children's choirs, Kristi preformed her first solo by the age 7 as a guest of local adult choirs. Known for her talent and knowledge of musical theory, she picked up lyrics just by listening. From 1997-1999, Kristi sang with the Detroit City's Childrens Choir, performing at the famous Fox Theater in Downtown Detroit. She has also preformed in numerous plays and musicals around the Metro Detroit and Troy communities helping her to develop a musical and perfomance talent well beyound her years, allowing her to recently audition for World's Most Talented Kids. Today, Kristi attends Troy High School in Troy, Michigan and is a dedicated member of educational community and performs in plays and musicals. Beyond her musical talent, she has maintained a grade point average consistently above 3.0 and was recently induced to Who's Who Among American High School Students. Beyond her vocal talent, Kristi is trained in trumpet and piano. Kristi has a love for God's work and passes along her message tp young people that it is good to have a relationship with God. She feels blessed that God has given her the gift to write her own songs and able to share her gift with other through performance. She has just released her first CD, "Doesn't Matter Who You Are"
