From his hometown Kortrijk in the south of Belgium comes Martin Malers new project: Trianglesquare Records. The first EP immediately sets the tone for what you can expect in the coming months: pounding, rave infused Techno that packs a lot of punch and references smartly to the heritage of Belgian nightlife. His first EP was christened The Rave Cave, after the infamous tunnel, hidden somewhere on the grounds of Belgiums illustrious festival Tomorrowland. In 2015, he was invited by Coincidence Records to close the stage and apparently, it inspired him to create two tracks, especially forged for the occasion. The square mix is the rave version: starting pretty straightforward with a pounding Techno loop that doesnt exactly hold back on energy, it breaks down into a fully fledged rave anthem that refers pretty strongly to the good old days of Belgian rave. The second mix however - the Triangle mix - takes a slightly more loopy approach and keeps it a strict minimalistic aesthetic which will probably appeal more to the slightly deeper Techno fans.
