简介

This is a brief synopsis of the 4th volume of independent rock tunes on Hottrax Records by various artists from the 1960s to the 2010s that represent 50 years of rock & roll history and its evolving change. Some tunes were nationally charted hits while others were regional favorites. "Be Careful What You Ask For" is a rhythmic rock tune with a message about the danger of getting want you want. Performed by Liane Webb with Bill Sheffield singing counterpoint, these two powerful singers complement each other as they intertwine the melody for maximum impact. “Disco Rock” by Starfoxx features the soulful voice of of Danny Deese, the group’s second lead vocalist and front man. The tune charted during the disco craze of the 1970s even though it was a rock tune about a disco dancing queen that drove men wild. “Desperate” is a sensuous rock song about longing for a mysterious lover to come back. Performed by Camille! with an earthy vocal attack, the tune oozes desire and lust. “Gimme, Gimme” by the Night Shadows was one of their comedic tunes. This one is about a golddigging spouse that is never satisfied and still ends up with just about everything. “I Must Be Crazy” is a tune about falling in love with the wrong person. Features a great piano solo by both vocalist Barrelhouse Bob Page and guitarist Roger Hurricane Wilson. "She Ain't Too Sexy, But She Sure Is Cute" is a rocker by Big Al Jano that's about a lady he met at a rehab center that nobody thinks is sexy even when she tries to be, “I Wanna Play The Fox” is a song about a clever boyfriend that manipulates everyone he comes in contact with. Delanna Brody sings that she wants to be as clever as a fox to compete with him. “You Ain’t Foolin’” performed by Roger Hurricane Wilson is a tune about a flirtatious woman that runs around behind the backs of the men in her life but he’s actually wise to it. “Which Way Did She Go?” by Foots Andersen is all about a girlfriend that got tired of his cheating ways and left him after a morning argument. He wants to go after her to tell her he’ll change his ways but doesn’t know where she’s gone. .
